About
"If I should ever die, God forbid, let this be my epitaph: 'The only proof he needed for the existence of God was music.'" -Kurt Vonnegut
I am endlessly charmed by the moment the orchestra's collective sound takes flight, transforming the atmosphere of the hall into a shared, shimmering spell where every soul present is carried away on the same transcendent wave of music.

I am from Los Angeles. I was the music director of a contemporary music ensemble called Sonic Open Orchestra and have conducted various ensembles in California, Boston, and London.

I believe that the podium is not a place of authority, but a bridge—a quiet space where the echoes of the past meet the urgent breath of the future. My life’s work is dedicated to honoring the sacred manuscripts left to us, treating every Mozartian turn and Mahlerian pause as a living testament to human emotion. Yet, I refuse to let tradition become a museum piece. I believe music is a living, breathing entity, and I champion new sounds that challenge our ears and expand our hearts, building a dialogue between the masters of yesterday and the visionaries of tomorrow.

I stand before the orchestra to listen, to feel the pulse of the present moment, and to sculpt that fleeting time into something lasting. My goal is to create a space where audiences feel the weight of history and the thrill of discovery simultaneously. I believe in a future where the orchestra remains a vibrant force, proving that the old and the new are not rivals, but partners in an eternal resonance.
